"Tohu Vavohu"

We began our discussion about Beraisheit by explaining to the children
that before the world was created there was "Tohu Vavohu"- everything
was all mixed up!
To help the children further grasp this concept we gave them modeling
clay and asked them to create something from "nothing"!
