The Mayflower Sets Sail!

Upon learning that the Pilgrims sailed on the Mayflower, it was
explained to the children that the ship was not powered by a motor but
by the wind. We created our own "Mayflower" by attaching a piece of
paper to a marker which was then fastened to a block. The "ship" was
placed in water where the children used paper fans to make it "sail"!
